This shrine is located infront of the church. This shrine is beautifully encarved with the Kerala style archecture. This shrine consist of a cross with 12 feet height and is made with stone. Idol of St.Mary with Jesus is encarved in this shrine. Next to this cross, there is a KalVilaku (lamp made with stone). Pilgrims from far and near bring oil and pour in this lamp as a sign of offertory to Mother Mary.
This shrine is situated in Alencherry junction, which is concecrated in the name of St.Mary. This shrine is built in tradtional Orthodoxy shrine design with four floored roof. This is the main shrine of the church. During the main feast of the church, which is commonly known as Alencherry Pally Perunnal, procession to the church will start from this shrine after the evening prayer.
